12/5/2008 www.elmmarketing.net Security Plus Technology Solutions Who is Emmett McCord? Emmett McCord, Jr., a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. McCord has over 30 years experience in the electronic security field. His career in the electronic field began as Vice-President of Communications International, Inc. (CII) one of the first interconnect companies in America. At CII, Mr. McCord was responsible for sales development for the firm’s telephone and clandestine security product lines. Mr. McCord joined Honeywell Protection Services in 1979 as a Sales Consultant and eventually moved into the commercial division to finally become a sprinkler specialist for the commercial division. Mr. McCord started the first African American electronic security firm in 1981 under the name McCord Protection Services Corporation. Mr. McCord established ELM Marketing in May, 2006 to market the latest technology and communication products and services available in the twentieth-first century. He has aligned ELM Marketing with several national and regional 8(a) and veteran disabled certified firms in order to develop multiple touch points within the public and private market sectors.
