Most people who like to eat Roasted chicken prefer to buy it already cooked just because they think that it is a difficult dish to make. So, here I have an easy way to make the perfect Roasted Chicken with Lemon.

Ingredients :

Ingredients 1 (5 to 6-pounds) roasting chicken salt black pepper 1 large bunch fresh thyme 4 lemons 3 heads garlic, cut in pieces. butter 1 cup white wine

Slide 4:

First, rinse the raw chicken inside and out and remove any excess of fat. Then, place the chicken in a large roasting pan.

Slide 5:

Next, stuff the cavity with salt, pepper, lemon juice, two cloves of garlic cut in pieces and thyme. (reserve enough thyme to garnish the chicken dish). Then, brush the outside of the chicken with butter and sprinkle it again with salt and pepper.

Slide 6:

Tie the legs together with kitchen string. Cut two lemons in quarters and scatter the quarters and remaining garlic around the chicken. Roast the chicken for one hour at 425 degrees F. Then, add one cup of white wine and continue roasting the chicken for an additional half hour.

Slide 7:

Finally, slice the chicken on a platter and garnish it with roasted garlic, the remaining thyme and one lemon slice.
