Eli Avrahami is an Israeli artist that was born in Iran. At an early age, Eli’s parents immigrated to Israel. When he was a child, he loved to paint and draw. Most of the paintings that he painted reflected the beauty of his surrounding environment. At times, Eli as a child in Israel, used to climb to the roof of his parents house, and used to look at the old buildings and houses around, and finding the similarities between them and the buildings and houses in his past Iranian environment. What he had missed from the Iranian scenery, he would use his artistic imagination to fill from the Israeli Scenery. When he was happy, he used to sit on the hill, and look at the scenery, and paint. He always searched in Israel for what had mimicked Iran. As a teenager in Israel, Eli had learned modern art, and enlisted in the mandatory conscription of Israel Defense Forces at age 18. Eli Avrahami , had participated in all of the state of Israel’s wars of defense against its hostile neighbors. Eli had fought in the war of 1956, 1967, & 1973. When Eli’s friend had given him as a gift a book depicting the primitive scenery of Iran, Eli started painting that same beloved and long had forgotten scenery of his native Iran. Eli had studied art in Ein Hod in Israel. In Boston, Eli had numerous and successful Exhibitions, and his paintings were sold all over the world, and some of his paintings today, are displayed in the halls of the Israeli Knesset (the Israeli Parliament) in Jerusalem, Israel. Today, Eli Avrahami , lives in Boston, Massachusetts, USA., and he is a proud father & grandfather.
