Classroom Procedures : 

Classroom Procedures Quietly sharpen pencils and place homework in homework bin. Raise hand to ask or answer question. Clean your area before exiting the classroom. Be dismissed by the teacher.

Rules : 

Rules Follow directions the first time they are given. Use your happy voice! Raise your hand and wait to be called on. Be respectful! Do your best!

Rewards : 

Rewards Individual -Students who are exhibiting good behavior will receive stickers, which they will keep track of on their notebooks. A sticker will be given each time I see your student behaving appropriately. -Students who have a ‘C’ or higher average for the whole week will be able to participate in our weekly ‘outdoor’ activities. -If your student is exhibiting exceptional behavior I will call you to tell you about it! Whole Class -When the entire class has a ‘B’ or above for behavior, we will listen to music during our warm-up as well as during independent work time. -When entire class is on task and following directions, they will receive a class point. The class with the most points will receive extra ‘outdoor activity’ time.

Consequences : 

Consequences A+ - Excellent job!! Perfect behavior all day long  A- Verbal warning. Slight misconduct, but overall good behavior. B- Verbal warning. Reminder that consequences will follow. Moderate misconduct. C- Apology letter. Needs to be 1 full page apologizing for their poor choices. Due at beginning of class the following day. D- Apology letter and removal from situation. For example, the student will be moved to another desk or a separate classroom. F- Apology letter, removal from situation, and a phone call home. The student must call the parent.   There is also a severity clause. This will be used in extreme circumstances-such as cursing at the teacher, physical violence, etc.- and the student will immediately be removed from the classroom.

Homework Policy : 

Homework Policy Students will submit homework assignments when entering the classroom. Students can receive credit, “no homework” passes, and free time if homework is completed and submitted. Students can join the “Homework Club” if homework is not submitted. Students have to complete homework during recess for that day. Students will not receive credit, “no homework” passes or free time until homework is completed and submitted.

Assignment Re-Do Policy : 

Assignment Re-Do Policy Students will be able to submit any re-do assignment a week after it is assigned. Students will not receive full credit for any re-do assignment that is turned late.

Expectations : 

Expectations Students are expected to come to school prepared! Students are expected to follow school rules and classroom rules. Students are expected to give 100% all the time!
