History : 

History Started in 2005 with 16 awards to Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Unilag was slated to receive the award in 2006 but failed to complete paperwork OAU received another 16 awards in 2006 In 2007 we gave a total of 32 awards (16 each to OAU and U.I. respectively) In 2008 OAU got 16 awards. OAU gets another 16 awards in January 2010

In the last 2 sessions, the organisation gave out 37 awards to our students. Final year students interested in the program should collect application forms from the Linkages Office (Humanities Block I Room 405A) from Wednesday, 15 November 2006. Deadline for submission is Thursday November 30.

My husband and I are setting up a memorial scholarship in my brother's name, Prof Imoru of Maths Dept at OAU who passed a year ago and will appreciate if you can share your model with us.  We talked with his colleagues but was told the University requires huge sum of money if we want to go through the university.  Since we don't have this huge money we are looking at other ways to award the scholarships.   Thank you for your assistance.    Bunmi  Olubunmi Ogunsola, PhD Woodbridge, VA
