Why should YOU choose the School of TEFL? Time Tested, Recognized and Accredited Quality Teacher Trainers Affordable and Convenient Resources and Community support Job Reference and Referral Classes start March 1 st . Registration begins Feb. 1st

Slide 2:

Time Tested, Recognized and Accredited The School of TEFL uses the basic curriculum of INTESOL, an internationally recognized TESOL certificate. It is accredited and monitored by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council. The course has been extensively developed and tested since its start in 1993.

Slide 3:

Quality Teacher Trainers A course is only as good as the trainer delivering it. The School of TEFL has a face and a person behind it. David Deubelbeiss has been a professor, curriculum developer, author, teacher trainer and teacher for over 20 years, helping thousands of teachers. We want to keep it personal and transparent!

Slide 4:

Affordable and Convenient The courses are affordably priced. We aim to make quality, basic TEFL training available to everyone. Our motto is “Teachers teaching Teachers” and we take a decidedly anti-business approach. At the school of TEFL, you take classes with a group but you can also study at your own pace. We recognize this as a strong point of online learning. Sign in as a Guest and view our eSchool

Slide 5:

Resources and Community Support We provide you with an instant Personal Learning Network and connect you with teacher mentors. During the course and after graduation, you’ll have full, premium access to the best resources and community in ELT. We understand learning and our commitment doesn’t stop after the course is done!

Slide 6:

Job Reference and Referral When you graduate from the School of TEFL, you’ll receive a personal letter of reference from your teacher trainer. Let us be your reference and key to opening the job door. Also, we’ll supply you with contacts and information about the job world through our sister community – TEFList

Slide 7:

How does it work? There are 4 Units and 10 modules to be completed over 12 weeks. Each include a self check, a quiz, an assignment and a technology tutorial and project. Using our online school, students read, watch videos, reference presentations and then complete quizzes, assignments and projects. Students must also discuss the unit in a forum with their classmates. Your instructor will give personal feedback to all assignments as well as participate in the forum and offer live sessions for students in our video conferencing rooms. Pass the final and graduate! We offer an optional “Practicum” unit. Observe or practice teach in a school for 20 hours and get this added to your certificate. All graduating students receive job search help through our extensive professional connections and resources. As well as a letter of recommendation from the teacher trainer.

Larry Ferlazzo (ELT Teacher and blogger, USA) "The resources there are too numerous to mention, and the willingness of members to be helpful cannot be over-stated. Few people have helped more ESL/EFL teachers learn about using technology than David Deubelbeiss, founder of EFL Classroom 2.0."

Slide 10:

Faith . (alumni, Korea) "Happy Teacher's Day, Mr. Deubelbeiss! I had only one class with you yesterday, but your presentation was such a wonderful experience to me. Most of all, your site was very eye catching and I found it as a kind of treasure land. I just learn you're sowing a seed of ideal teaching in every English teachers. Thank you so much for your helpful leading !

Slide 11:

David Colbert – ( student, USA ) Hi. When I first heard about the Intesol Online TESOL course on the internet, I was very happy about it. You can study whenever and wherever you want. That’s why it is a very flexible course! PS. The Online Teaching Practice experience was amazing!

Slide 12:

Angela Rechsteiner ( alumni, Austria ) I’d like to summarize the course in 3 words: Trustworthy – User Friendly – Instructive. All the feedback was very useful for my future career. Live sessions made a big difference against distance learning. You are not on your own, face to face support is great!

Slide 13:

Larisa Nikitin ( alumni, Russia ) There are many courses in this industry and I researched them before starting. The main privilege of the course is the online study. I did not have time to take an onsite course. Thank you everyone!
