Hall 38 ministerial chambers and 14 meeting halls. It also has

of Lord Shiva known around Belgaum as Dakshin Kashi or Kashi of South.
The idol of Shiva or Shivalinga is believed to be self originated called
SWAYAMBHU in the local language and hence is very sacred for devotees.
The origins of the temple date back to late 12th century as per the stone
inscription found in Kamalbasti.
The temple has gone through many transformations over the years. Now
there are idols of Lord Datta Ganesh Vishnu Navagraha and Sai Baba in
the temple premises. The temple of Navagraha has gained lot of
popularity in the last 50 years and attracts large number of devotees.

main bus stand. It is only 4 KMS away from Belgaum airport. The
village became well known around the place in the late 19th
century because of its illustrious son Dattopant who later
became famous saint Pant Maharaj.
Pant Maharaj left for heavenly abode on 16th October 1905
third day of Ashwin Month. His punyatithi is celebrated on this
day in Pant Balekundri amongst thousands of devotees from
Karnataka and Maharashtra.
