Their New Roommates Their hideout was able to fit 4 more people. Those 4 people were named Hermann and Auguste van Pels , their son Peter van Pels , and a German dentist named Fritz Pfeffer . However, in the book their names were changed to Hermann , Petronella , and Peter van Daan , and Albert Dussel .

Anne Frank wrote her last entry on Tuesday, August 1, 1944. In that entry, she said she had two personalities.
