AIM OF THE EVENT 58 Cadets participated in the Road Traffic Control event The Traffic control Sub Inspector K.M. Abdul Majeed started the event The cadets helped, along with the traffic police to control the traffic at signals, making the vehicles to stop at stop line Cadets helped the public to cross the road safely at zebra crossings, guiding them to use subways and to walk in the platforms.

TEMPLE POND CLEANING : 

TEMPLE POND CLEANING Date: 26/11/2011 Time: 7.00am to 4.00pm Venue: Thiruvottriyur

AIM OF THE EVENT: 

AIM OF THE EVENT The temple pond cleaning event was conducted at Sri Theagaraya Swamy Koil or (Sri Vadivudaiamman Koil) Thiruvottriyur, Chennai. The pond is fully covered by grasses, bushes, plastics and garbage’s We removed the grasses and bushes inside the pond. Plastics and garbages were collected and disposed outside the pond in dustbins Around 74 Cadets were involved in this pond cleaning activity

AIM OF THE EVENT Amaithi illam is an orphanage more than 50 young boys and girls are given shelter there 21 Cadets both SW and SD cadets participated in this event We conducted cultural programmes and also made the childrens to participate with us to enhance their happiness Small gifts were given to all the kids to make them feel happy Advance New year was celebrated with them by cutting cake and distributing chocolates

AIM OF THE EVENT The event was conducted at Stanly Government Hospital Chennai 21 Cadets were participated in this event We helped them in making Q for registering their names to get OP Chelans Helped the hospital staffs in writing OP Chelans, Guiding the patients and visitors for the routes to different Wards and Departments Making the patients to wait for consulting with the Doctor

AIM OF THE EVENT Totally 43 Cadets participated in this Government Hospital premises cleaning work More than 60 village peoples are benefited by this Hospital. The hospital campus was surrounded by bushes, grasses and garbage’s It was cleaned by our cadets and made the surroundings neat and clean.

EYE DONATION CAMP:

AIM OF THE EVENT 62 cadets were involved in this Eye donation camp Awareness on eye donation and the benefits of eye donation was created to our college students class by class Also to the publics outside of our College Pamphlets were distributed to the public regarding eye donation and the benefits were explained to them The eye donation pledge forms were filled by the college students as well as public for pledging their eyes to the eye Bank.

AIM OF THE EVENT The Blood donation camp was inaugurated by our Principal About 80 cadets were involved in the blood donation camp The blood donation camp was organized by the The Madras Voluntary Blood Bureau, Chennai Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital Chennai and Children’s Hospital, Egmore, blood banks collected the blood from the donors Our Cadets distributed blood donation pamphlets and explained the benefits of blood donation to students and public

AIM OF THE EVENT This event was conducted near by our College About 25 cadets participated in this event Tobacco products not to be sold around 100metrs in retail shops nearby Educational institutes related stickers and posters were pasted and tied in the retail shops Pamphlets were distributed to the publics creating awareness to the effects of consuming tobacco products.
