Presentation Description

The Jungfraujoch is usually known in tourism literature as the “Top of Europe”; it lies at an Alpine altitude of 3,454 metres. You find there Europe’s highest post office and highest railway station, a cogwheel railway older than 100 years. Railway excursions to the Jungfraujoch start at the Interlaken Ost station, and you can choose between one of two circuits: one via Lauterbrunnen, the other via Grindelwald. Both circuits stop at Kleine Scheidegg, and from there on until the end of the line, there is only one and same circuit. It is usually recommended to take the Lauterbrunnen circuit when going up to the Jungfraujoch, and the Grindelwald circuit on the way down. Either way, you’ll have a stunning experience to remember.
