Phillips :James R. Phillips Jim Phillips brings over 30 years of experience to Pegasus Merchant Advisors from the financial services industry. Most recently, Jim is the co-founder of Pegasus Capital Management, LLC. Prior to founding Pegasus Capital Management, he served as Executive Vice President & Managing Director of myCFO, LLC. Jim served in leadership roles with Bank of America and First Interstate Bank over two decades with particular emphasis in commercial credit, banking and merchant services. Jim graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in both Economics and French. He also attended Columbia University Reid Hall Foreign Studies Program, Paris, France, and is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School. 12 Daniel R. Stiel :Daniel R. Stiel Dan Stiel holds more than 30 years experience in electronic payments product development and marketing, serving some of the world’s largest retailers, financial institutions, and card networks. Mr. Stiel served as the Director of Payment Systems for Circle K Stores, where he developed and marketed a number of innovative payment solutions and financial services for the retailer’s more than 5,000 franchise, dealers, and company-owned locations. As Vice President, Marketing for First Interstate Bancorp, he oversaw product and marketing for the $60+ billion dollar bank’s credit, debit, ATMs, and electronic banking products. He also held the position of Director of Fleet Purchasing Cards for Visa USA where he developed and implemented fleet purchasing cards with the U.S. Government, Bank of America, Citibank, U.S. Bank, and leading credit card processors. Dan founded Stiel Direct LLC, a Delaware company, in 2000 to provide financial services marketing, category management, and product development support to leading retailers, manufacturers, and banks. Stiel is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. 13 Michael B. Walker :Michael B. Walker Mike Walker has extensive experience in developing, managing, and improving financial operations and payments processing activities. His experience includes credit card company management, financial services mergers and acquisitions, new product development, and technology development for the leaders in financial services. Prior to Pegasus Merchant Advisors, Mike served as Co-Founder and CEO of Apollo Enterprise Solutions, growing the company operationally to over $5 million daily in payments over the internet. As Chairman & CEO of Payment Programs Management Corporation (PPMC), he provided credit card management services and advanced data analytics to departments and agencies of the Federal Government. Prior to PPMC, Mike was senior vice president and general manager at First Data Resources, the largest 3rd party credit card processor in the world. At First Interstate Bank, Mike held line, staff, and management positions including chief executive of First Interstate Bancard, Special Assistant to the CEO, and Chief of Staff (COS). As COS he was responsible for all of the staff functions of the bank: finance, marketing, branch operations, human resources, corporate properties and facilities, legal, community relations, data administration and technology planning. Mike holds a BA in philosophy and an MBA in economics and finance. Both degrees are from the University of Chicago. 14 Jim Chamberlain :Jim Chamberlain Jim Chamberlain has extensive industry experience in chemical and petroleum manufacturing, publishing, EDI systems for health care, internet services and product distribution. He has held senior executive positions with Times Mirror Corporation, and Occidental Petroleum. He began his career in finance with Ernst and Ernst in San Francisco. Mr. Chamberlain holds a BA degree from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
