This is usually not something people appreciate however at least they can plan ahead when having the knowledge that they will need to plan for this expense. Social Healthcare: Current Issues : Many people struggle in the current medical system because they cannot afford the care that they need. When changing over to a more uniform approach everyone will have access to the same quality of services. This is beneficial because people will not be given preference based on their financial status. Social Healthcare: Current Issues Slide 5: Individuals will also be healthier because they can go for preventative care in advance. This will indirectly reduce the amount of cost for health related issues because people will not in theory have as many health problems.
