16 Implementing the recommendations of Vaidyanathan Committee and Radhakrishna committee and also the recommendations of Dr. Rangarajan Committee, regarding extension of required finance to the members of the Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS), Union Bank of India, has pioneered in this direction by taking up a pilot in Nizamabad district in A.P and extended top up loans to the borrowers of PACs through technology support of Co Options. 108 members have been extended loans amounting to Rs.32.3 lakh Union bank is the first bank to take up such initiative. A pilot project has been taken up in Karimnagar Dist to issue biometric cards to the members of the SHGs to provide them door step banking.

17 In addition to saving a/c we are providing these impoverished small loans under the brand name Saubhagya and Bhagya with along with micro life insurance. These loans are repayable in weekly equated installments. The option of selecting number of repayments weeks is left to the choice of the borrower. So far Rs.25.30 lac has been extended to 205 members. In partnership with NDDB we are facilitating for the hazel free payment of milk receivables to the pourers in Junagarh, Gujarat, Nanded in Maharashtra and Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh.
