BUT Even though Migdalia had tried to write this book for years, every trial ended up in forgetfulness. :

BUT Even though Migdalia had tried to write this book for years, every trial ended up in forgetfulness. The Problem I have to organize the parade. I have a meeting after work. I’m babysitting my granddaughter. What was that I wanted to do? I’m getting a headache!

When I began to work with Maria, I dreamt of taking a trip to Mexico, to see the pyramids. Success Stories But I had never done it. I always had an excuse. Sometimes it was money. Sometimes it was time.

Maria helped us prepare a Dream Basket and we did a ceremony to use this ancient practice of the Sacred Feminine to quicken the manifestation of our dreams. Success Stories

I immediately manifested the extra money and time, and I was able to visit the Mexican pyramids!

One of my goals for my dream of writing a book on my expertise was to improve my credibility as an expert. But I had applied for a scholarship to finish my masters degree several times, with no luck.

Weeks after doing the ceremony, I got the scholarship!

Success Stories Maria encouraged me with her feedback. I began to read my writings in public and became more comfortable because I got really good feedback.

I used to see my dream crashing against a wall of time. But Maria helped me to see that time was not the thief. It was I who did not give myself and my dreams time in my life! I was always running around helping others, leaving myself without time. I have learned to be aware of how I invest my time with people.

Maria gave me a special bonus, the Manifestation Calendar. It helped me to see how I was scheduling time, what time I was giving to my dream, and how I was balancing rest, work, fun, creativity and my dream goals each day.

Though it was tough at first, using this calendar and Maria’s questions about how I had used time every week, I was able to develop “Dream Discipline” ~a life discipline that enables me to take ownership of my time to create my dream every day!

I think that this master programs may be one of the toughest in the United States. A lot of people couldn’t make it. But I not only made it. This semester I finished with honors! This was greatly due to Maria’s teachings on taking ownership of time and living in balance.

I love to write and tell stories. Maria used my passion for storytelling to help me get over my blockage in writing my expert book. When I realized that I could include the beautiful stories about a magical child that I was writing as part of my expert book, I got fired up! I integrated my creative and my expert voices.

Slide 18:

In one year I created the outline for all the chapters, wrote the magical stories, built the structure of the book and wrote more than half of my book. I began to live like a professional writer, writing every week.

I was able to pinpoint what were the specific criteria and principles of my expert system. I now have my own website, blog, social media presence, mailing list management service and I am collecting pre-orders even before the book is out. I’ve been able to set myself up as an expert thanks to the integrative quality of Maria’s mentorship.

As a result of this process, the blueprint of my dream work went from fuzzy to crystal clear. My dream became a reality that is at the reach of my fingertips… literally. I write it into reality every day. Migdalia’s book cover Created by her daughter, Grissele Olavaria.

At the time, I still had periods were I would dive into a depressive mood for weeks or even months. But when I learned about Inner Dynamics, about the Inner children, the Shadows and the Creative Selves, I was able to quickly self-mother myself out of any depression bouts.

Throughout my post-graduate studies, my writings and my professional development, I’ve carried these tools that Maria gave me: Dream discipline Ownership of time Sacred Space, Inner Space and Power Postures Self-intimacy through Inner Dynamics Re-casting my Shadows (Inner Enemies) Detachment Self-mothering Shifting the world techniques

Thanks to Maria Mar’s teachings I shifted my perception from secretly identifying with the wounded, abandoned victim I had been in my past to seeing and feeling myself as a Woman of Power.

This story is still unfolding, as I am still in the process of finishing my masters and writing my book. But I’d like to share the true happy ending. Before mentoring with Maria Mar, I believed that if I had, did or achieved certain things, then I would be happy. Now I am happy because I WANT to be happy. I am happy now!
