Green Energy Centers in Europe are built as Solar Buildings Innovative Centers for Public Information, Education and Research are using Solar Architecture and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) – very often ‘Zero Energy-Standards’, based on highest efficiency combined with renewable energy supply Helios Building of CEA-’INES’, Solar Research Institute, Chambéry , France Solar Centre MV, Germany Umweltarena , Switzerland All three institute buildings are aiming to reach a 100% solar and renewable energy supply With ‘Smart Flower’ developed with AIT ‘Solar Window Shutter’ developed by Astrid Schneider, Solar Architecture
