N A N E C is an bilingual open course (spanish/english) about New Literacies and New Connectivist Environments which offers the UdIE - Universitat de València (Spain). It’s coordinated by Beatríz Gallardo, George Siemens, Dolors Capdet and Paz Villar . November 4, 2010 - March 17, 2011

An open decentralized course is built on a connectivist model of learning : emphasizing learner autonomy , reducing barriers to connection forming , emphasizing participation, sensemaking and wayfinding through social and technological networks, and encouraging serendipitous connections through diversity (of ideas and participants).

N A N E C is divided into three modules . In the first module is about elements that encourage change ( power, control, authority, chaos, uncertainty, fragmentation, ... ). Contents

 flexibility in the interaction  elements of context that does not provide Elluminate.  automatic translation of written chat in real time (essential in the multicultural and multilingual context of the connectivist model ).

 provides tools like the Holodeck that allow a change of scenario without having to move the avatars or the Build-Builder that lets you build scenarios that open and close with a single mouse click, facilitating mobility and processes.  Also has recreational spaces that allows to strengthen group and social bonds after an educational session.
