"Because the concept of this product is so new, potential customers have more questions about it than they do with more traditional software applications," Joanne said. "We want to address those questions and concerns as quickly and easily as possible."
Consumers will have access to email support 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Live Chat representatives, company officials said. They will also be able to speak with customer service representatives on the phone during regular business hours.
"All of our customer service representatives are based in North America," Joanne said. "We didn't want to outsource to another country, because we believe it can lead to cultural issues that make it hard for people to understand and solve questions and concerns."
She said the number-one question they had received so far was whether or not the software is legal.
"If you pay the bill for the phone, you absolutely have the right to install any software you want on it," Joanne said. "If something belongs to you, you should be able to know how it is being used."
