Select 6 retailers you are familiar
with in the following channels.
Note that they must be chains:
Grocery
Apparel
Restaurants
Create a positioning chart similar to the one in the prior slide
Place the retailer in the appropriate quadrant on your perception of where they are relevant to Price & Quality
Make the circle size relevant to the size of the retail chain as you see it
For example Walmart would be a much larger size vs. Whole Foods
Be prepared to discuss in class why you positioned each retailer the way you did

Benefits Ladder Find a YouTube Commercial you feel focuses on the Belief and/or Emotional Connection to the product or Brand Copy and Paste the URL into the comments box of the blog
Be prepared to discuss in class why the commercial represents a high degree of Belief / Emotion
