Forever.W2T Background:: W2T Background: Our Mission: An enabling ministry to bring Fresh, Clean Water to rural Africa Primarily Ethiopia and Sierra Leone Faith-based, our project roots are Lutheran Connecting communities in need to churches, schools, community groups & donors Model: Direct, Efficient, Transparent, Accountable 30 Months, Over 90,000 served, 170+ projectsEthiopia 5+ Million Lutherans!: Ethiopia 5+ Million Lutherans! 2X Texas Approx. 75M 80% Rural Weak Infrastructure Mekane Yesus Project Areas Tigray (North) Gondar (NW) Sayo & Dal Sadi (West) Kafe (South)Typical Communities:: Typical Communities : 400 to 700 beneficiaries Rural, often isolated No supporting infrastructure No previous access to clean water Prior sources of water were runoff, ponds and rivers, all contaminated Long walking Distances…..4-6 hours each daySlide 5: Filthy Contaminated Disease infected Scarce But often the only available source of water…..
