Slide 2:

Brought to you by: Danielle Ciulla Rebekah Verdieck Haynes Wu Sabrina Persaud

Slide 3:

You’ve all seen those sad commercials. Far too often, abandoned animals end up in shelters where they remain, hoping to get a second chance to be man’s best friend.

Slide 4:

Unfortunately, not all shelters provide appropriate care and conditions for these animals. This could be due to overpopulation or just a lack of knowledge in animal care.

Slide 5:

These poor conditions and practices are not only hazardous to the health and safety of the animals but also places the shelter staff at risk of illness and injury, as well.

Slide 6:

These issues can easily be prevented by encouraging animal shelter personnel to participate in a course designed to improve animal shelter management.
