Meditation “Meditation is a practice where an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content, or as an end in itself . ”

Benefits of Meditation – At Work:

Benefits of Meditation – At Work Better focus Regular meditation helps train the mind to focus fully on whatever is happening in the present moment. Somebody who meditates regularly might find it easier to fully engage with the task in hand and to concentrate better during meetings and presentations. A person who meditates regularly will become more able to recognize when their mind starts to wander, and to bring themselves back to the present.

Benefits of Meditation – At Work Reduced stress Workplace stress has a huge negative impact on productivity. Settings a little time aside to engage in practicing meditation helps calm the mind and reduce the power of negativ e thoughts and emotions.

P ositive affirmations Meditation helped me to build more confidence and think in a positive way . “I can do it!” “I feel terrific!” “I am responsible !”

Meditation & Me Appreciating others’ efforts Appreciating others uplifts my consciousness as well as that of the other person. It also creates a warm and conducive atmosphere around me. In meditation, I’m able to overcome prejudiced thoughts, which do not allow us to connect with the other person.

Meditation & Me:

Meditation & Me Maintaining equanimity L ife is nothing short of a roller-coaster ride with its ups and downs. There are things we all want to do, but might not always be able to. And there are times we accomplish goals we never thought we could. Each of these moments might overwhelm us with grief or excitement respectively. And to achieve something in life, Meditation has taught me to keep moving with equanimity.

Meditation & Me Be more compassionate Meditation helped me to nurture the seed of compassion that is already there. “Accepting that everyone, including us, has flaws helps us love ourselves. C ommunicate effectively Effective communication calls for refinement of our thoughts and emotions. Meditation brings clarity to my thoughts , sharpens my intellect and helps me perceive situations without judgement. I am able to express myself in a way that makes sense and base my decisions on sound facts.

Meditation & Me Help the community I’m able to share the meditation and pranayama techniques I learnt by organizing meditation boot camps with a not for profit organization and spreading happiness and smiles with the members of the community.
