Idea screening : 

Idea screening After gathering 3-4 different types of ideas for business it is required to discuss about all the ideas. Then here initial screening of ideas will be done. By doing all this initial screening we decided to start the canteen in Ram Krishna Seva Mandal(RKSM)Campus, Anand, Gujarat. In RKSM campus there is only one canteen between primary school, secondary and higher secondary school, Anand Institute of Management(for MBA)Law college ,Arts college, Anand commerce college(for BBA),AIBS,BCA And MCA College, Pharmacy College and also girls hostel. And among all these school and colleges there is more than 3000 students. A research tells that during working days 50%-60% students are visiting canteen. And also the facility is given to the teachers of the colleges .

Market Analysis   : 

Market Analysis A market analysis is a method of screening project ideas as well as means of evaluating a project’s feasibility in terms of the market . Market area: Customers for canteen are mainly focuses on students. students like fast food, Chinese , pizza as a change in Anand . The consumption pattern will remain more or less the same in this area because majority of the students come from distant places to Anand and for study year after year in huge numbers . In coming days demand of food of canteen is increased in this area. To cope up with this demand we need proper supplier, we have decided to get raw materials on the contract base at Anand. our targets are all individuals students coming in RKSM Campus for study in Anand and we will targeting the collegians than school students because the frequency of eating more food is more with collegians than any others. For selecting target we will use product specialization .

Technical analysis : 

Technical analysis Technical analysis provides an opportunity for a consideration of the effect of various technical alternatives on employment, ecology, infrastructure demands, and capital services, support of other industries, balance of payments, and other factors. In technical analysis, first of all we decide the plant size and production schedule . At here the plant size requirement is based on the size of the kitchen and buffet table. Here we planning to put 4 tables so we need a room, size of 25”×25” and for making tea-coffee, etc., we need the space 5”×5”. So the total area, we required is about 650 square feet space. Here , we use token system for selling our product in the college.

For a canteen we need the following equipments: Gas stove -1 with 2 burners Rs. 10000 Microwave oven – 1 Rs. 9000 Refrigerator – 1 Rs. 14000 Administrative desk – 1 Rs. 1500 For different type of food, we would need many manpower mentioned below: Manager – 1 selling member for 4 window – 4 sweeper and Cleaner – 2 In canteen, every day the waste is generally scrap of un-eaten food and paper dishes. We are estimating that 1 to 2 kg par day would be un-utilized. We will dispose it very carefully . We will distribute the eatable items, which has good quality, to the poor people. And the west will through at proper place, far from the residential area.
