Two of the most wondrous and useful parts of our body are our hands. :

We constantly use them, often with grace and ease, but many times with rigorous demands.

They belong to men, women and children; they silently wait to serve our needs.

Slide 5: 

Some are strong and rough, others weak and smooth, but they all try so diligently to do their deeds.

We shake hands with them, do jobs, cook, eat and sew; some play pianos, others catch a ball. :

Lovers use them to hold hands, elders to support a cane and babies need them to crawl. :

Some do miraculous surgery, others dig in dirt, many get broken, cut, chafed or bruised :

But oh how blessed we are to have them, and we should be thankful, no matter how they are used. :

Some show tenderness in a touch to a dear one with a caress that fills the heart with love, :

Many fold them in prayer as they speak openly or silently to GOD above. :

Hopefully we keep our hands throughout our lifetime, whether we are rich, poor, famous, busy or bored.

But always remember, the most precious hands, were the nail scarred ones of JESUS CHRIST, our LORD.
