Today I picked a rose so perfect, :

that it's beauty made me cry. :

Oh how it reminded me of beautiful roses, :

that I had been given through the years gone by :

Those flowers were given with deep feelings : 

Those flowers were given with deep feelings

And were meant as messages of love. :

Each petal had been sprinkled with rainbow colors, :

and was blessed by God above. :

As I held the rose close to my heart, :

I remembered the most special person I ever knew. :

Silently crying I felt tears run down my cheeks, :

I saw them fall upon the rose like sparkling dew. :

With shaking hands I plucked off one rose petal, :
