A species is lost every 6 minutes. If we don't stop agriculture, then we are all dead. Nothing is so destructive. In 20 years, there will be one third of the arable land to feed twice as many people. The food emergency of the cultural revolution provided no sustainable alternatives But now we know that fighting nature is not the best wayAvailable Options: Available Options Continue with an unsustainable system that fights Nature OR Introduce sustainable systems that work with NatureRecommendation: Recommendation Introduce Permaculture to farmers and universities Use films and pictures already available to teach Start a pilot project in Yunnan Obtain land, finance and government supportPermaculture in detail: Permaculture in detail - no digging or ploughing is required - the land and food are not poisoned with pesticides and chemical fertilizers - top soil is built, instead of being destroyed Permaculture in action: Permaculture in action Each small area of land becomes a multi-storey field.
