Why is it important to present our self as a Professional in an Interview ?
Thank You. Slide 3: INTRODUCTION Aviation industry is considered to be one of the
most disciplined and professional industry in the
world. This industry is said to be next to military in
terms of discipline and professionalism. Getting into
this industry is not every ones cup of tea. An
individual should have numerous qualities for
working in this industry. Slide 4: PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED
FOR WORKING IN THE AVIATION INDUSTRY As said.” A person is judged by his qualities and not by looks”. For working in Aviation Industry its important to have at least the following qualities :-
Patience – Wile working in a service industry an individual will come across rude and demanding customers in one way or the other. By being patient anyone can work their way out of such customers.
Adaptability – We should be adaptable enough to work anywhere anytime through out the world
Hard Working – Hard working is the only key to success and success is what matters in every goal. NO HARD WORK NO GLORY.
Punctual – Punctuality reflects professionalism.
Current Affairs – We should be well aware of the happening in and around us
Well toned – A healthy mind in a healthy body.
Positive attitude – It means carrying ourselves in such a way that people find it easy and donot hesitate to approach us I case of any problem. Slide 5: GROOMING Grooming can be defined as the art of
presenting ones own self at his/her best.
The way a person grooms speaks a
lot about his/hers personality
and attitude. In other words Grooming is not only
about looking good, its also about loving yourself.
Grooming does not only mean wearing the right attire but
also taking care of his/hers Health, Skin and Hair. Slide 6: IMPORTANCE OF GROOMING First impression is the last impression.
Makes you look and feel good from within which in the process boosts up your PERSONALITY and CONFIDENCE.
Confident people can always give their best out which results in excellent performance.
A well groomed person is always remembered even after meeting him/her only once. Slide 7: SKIN CARE Slide 8: SKIN TYPES Depending upon an individuals diet skin types vary from person to person. There are four types of skin- Oily, Dry, T-zone and Normal. The method to know your skin type is---
Splash water on face before going to bed, Wipe it and sleep for the night and observe the following morning. Slide 9: OILY SKIN DRY SKIN People with oily skin will feel very oily and sticky the next morning People with DRY skin will feel very stretchy and will have an urge to apply a moisturizer then and there Slide 10: T-ZONE SKIN NORMAL SKIN People with T-zone skin will have oily patches on forehead and nose while the cheeks will be dry Normal Skin is considered to be the best of all skin types. This skin type does not get too oily or dry. Slide 11: MY SKIN TYPE After going through the above said experiment
I found that I have a Normal skin. It was neither
OILY nor DRY or a combination of both (T-Zone) Slide 12: METHODS I FOLLOW
TO MAINTAIN MY SKIN Wash my face properly with water.
Drink lots of water to keep myself hydrated.
I use a sun block at least 15minutes before stepping out of my house.
After returning home I use a face wash specially designed for men.
I take water vapour massage every alternative days.
Before going to bed I wash my face with water and soap.
I use Himalaya’s Deep cleansing lotion at least 4-5times a week. Slide 13: HAIR CARE Slide 14: TYPES OF HAIR There are three types of hair. They are :-
Oily hair Slide 15: DRY HAIR This type of hair is characterized
by a dry scalp and often result in
Dandruff, hair fall and split ends. Solution :- Warm the oil before use and massage the scalp gently. Keep it for 30minutes and then use a shampoo everyday. Slide 16: NORMAL HAIR This type of hair is characterized by
a normal scalp. It doesn’t get oily
nor dry even after using a shampoo Suggestion :- Use oil and shampoo at least 4-5 times a week Slide 17: OILY HAIR This type of hair is characterized
by an oily scalp the very next day
after having a shampoo. Solution :- Use minimum oil and
shampoo every alternative days. NOTE :- Oily hair is considered to be the best of all hair types as it produces its own natural oil. Slide 18: MY HAIR TYPE My hair type is Normal.
METHODS I FOLLOW TO MAINTAIN MY HAIR
I use a hot oil massage atleast 30 minutes before having a shampoo.
I shampoo atleast 4-5 times a week
After shampoo I always use a Protein Conditioner to smoothen my hair.
I avoid unnecessary cosmetics like Gel, Hair Spray etc. and if I use them I wash it off immediately after returning home. Slide 19: HEIGHT WEIGHT RATIO Slide 21: MY DIET CHART Slide 22: My height is 5.7ft and I weight 147lbs(1kg=2.20lbs) which is proportional according to height weight ratio. Slide 24: PHYSICAL FITNESS Physical Fitness means different
for different people. For some it might
mean their ability to play while for others
it might mean keeping themselves
fit physically. People, in a race against time find it really
difficult to maintain themselves. However now a days with
raising problems like obesity and heart problems etc.
people are towards being more fit PHYSICALLY as well as
mentally and emotionally. Slide 25: EXERCISE I DO As I stay alone I don’t get much time to exercise. However I try and maintain atleast these following exercises :-
Jogging early in the morning.
I do Pushups for chest.
I always walk as much as possible. Slide 26: WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO PRESENT YOURSELF AS A PROFESSIONAL IN AN INTERVIEW ?
First Impression is the Last Impression
Maturity – People working in an office are very serious about their work and DONOT want a KID in between them.
