Look for common IP addresses that are similar and paste them on Google to restrict them Here is How to do it without a software:How to prevent PPC Fraud: How to prevent PPC Fraud Still today, with all the technology, there are no 100% solution. But you can prevent a lot of issues through the previous techniques mentioned in the previous slides. For more security, I would hire professionals, as it can become technical. Some techniques used for fraud can use automated programs that changes IP address so it is not detectable. And these can only be detected through the combination of different techniques. This includes using systems such as using cookies to track the individuals. Or you can use budget variation, such as increasing the budget by $100 and see the results the next day. If the next day it is at $90, and the following day in the morning (by 8am) the whole $100 has been used then you do have fraud. You are going to have to block out the location it is coming from.PPC Fraud- How to get your money back: PPC Fraud- How to get your money back Each browser such as Google, yahoo, MSN… has documents that you can fill out for invalid clicks. Google for example has a Invalid Clicks Contact Form, or you have contact support if you are using AdCenter . Just make sure you collect the IP address or any proof you can obtain. Companies like Google takes it very seriously and will tend to contact you right away. If you can narrow the invalid clicks down to a specific IP address you can exclude your ads from being shown to that IP. This is under Networks >>> Exclusions. Then submit the information you have collected for a refund.Overall PPC Fraud: Overall PPC Fraud Click fraud accounts for a formidable percent of total clicks – but much of it happens before you ever get charged.
