My Survival Guide - How I Traveled Like a Pro During my Two Weeks Stay in Paris :

My Survival Guide - How I Traveled Like a Pro During my Two Weeks Stay in Paris I am extremely delighted to share my Paris experience and I still cherish each and every moment I spent there. I’ve spent weeks and weeks in Paris, and it’s a city that takes too many lifetimes to see. Just when I think I’ve seen everything, new attractions, new cafés, or new markets keeps on popping up. It’s seriously so hard to resist not to visit these places. Paris is very close to my heart and a place I contemplate spending my life in. I’ve been visiting this city for over a decade and a big thank you to Delta Airlines Reservations. I can’t imagine myself anywhere without their guidance and support. My dad decided to make some early bookings for my flight tickets through Delta Airlines Official Site. I and my dad were surprised to explore so many options, this site has got so much to offer, from the cheapest deals to endless discounts, and it’s like the ultimate thing every budget-conscious person could ever wish for. For me, it’s always Delta Airlines Deals that do all the magic work in my wallet. I would strongly recommend Delta Airlines Flights if anyone is planning to fly away sooner or later.

My Paris Survival Guide: How to Pretend You’re Not a Tourist There are many things that you need to observe if you are a first-timer in this French Capital. Paris is a moveable feast, it's gigantic, it may take a lifetime to see all the places. It can be equally overwhelming and challenging if you want to truly live up to its hype. So without further ado, you can check out my Paris survival guide, or how to stay safe and not piss everyone off while living in Paris: Trying to say little things in French maybe a good start I have always noticed that responding to the locals with a thank you in English may not always be the best idea. So I decided to learn some basics and it does work and fetches you more appreciation. So my sincere advice to all those newbies is to try to at least speak a bit of heavily-accented French, maybe a simple “Bonjour” and a “ Merci , au revoir ” will do.

Slide 3:

Lowering down that tune They are definitely gonna notice you if you are speaking to them at a higher volume is not going to help them understand you better. As I was walking across the streets I came to a café where I sat next to a British Family. The lady was loud, to begin with, but spoke even more loudly to the poor French woman trying to take their order. When she came to me, I saw a visible relief on her face as I placed my order in my own accented French, driving it even further home that point. Based on this incident I think it is really important, to speak politely and lowering down your volume will likely be better if you make the effort to use the little French word you know . Avoid making stops in between the roads It amazes me every time I see people in Paris walk around in their own little dream worlds. Yes, the French people do walk the streets not quite aimlessly but not exactly with purpose either. Make sure that you don’t end up running into someone who just couldn’t be bothered to move a foot to the left in order to let you pass.

Slide 4:

Pickpockets are everywhere I came across one too. I’ll never forget my pickpocket experience while I was busy strolling around the streets. A man approached me and asked if I spoke English, then he held out a little piece of paper for me to read. Not really sure what was going on, I looked at it, but before I could say anything my pockets were already empty. It was not much of money but staying alert and staying away from weirdo or strangers approaching you may be a good idea.
