THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR:

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR Teaching Scripture with Scripture The key to the Song of Solomon is found in Psalm 45. It is titled a “Song of Loves” and it is a “royal marriage hymn” and it refers to Solomon. While the primary reference is to Solomon, the ultimate reference is to Christ as taught in Hebrews 1:7-8. SUMMARY

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR:

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR Teaching Scripture with Scripture This 45 th Psalm goes with the Song of Solomon. In it we see (1) in Vs. 2-9 an address to the royal bridegroom, and (2) in Vs. 10-17 an address to the royal bride. SUMMARY

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR:

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR What it Teaches This Book, wit the 45 th Psalm, teaches us what Paul teaches in II Corinthians 11:1-2 and also in Ephesians 5:25-27. The Song of Solomon speaks then of our (the church) relationship to the heavenly Bridegroom, Our Lord Jesus. SUMMARY

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR:

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR REFLECTION What do these three books mean to you and how you live your life? How have you applied the teachings of Solomon within his proverbs to how you love others and the Lord? SUMMARY
