When we talk about antique coins of India from the colonial period, we generally remember coins featuring Queen Victoria and King William IV that were issued by the British Regime. There are many other colonial coins of India that were issued under the regime of other European powers. Let’s take a look at some of these antique Indian coins

This Gold Pagoda was issued somewhere between 1747-84 ND under the Dutch East India Company. These rare coins in India were Die Struck and featured a Degenerated Vishnu and lazy "J" on the obverse while the reverse depicted a Granulated engraving.
