The Innovation Self charging electric bike: Chosen industry (one industry): Public Service Chosen technologies: Mobility To reduce the electricity consumption. By connecting a dynamo to the battery of the bike. A frictional force produced from the revolution of the wheels of the bike. This frictional force is used to charge the battery of the bike. Maximum Points: 10

Compelling need for the innovation To reduce the energy consumption….. As the electricity consumption is going on increasing this idea could conserve electricity. Pollution free. Easy to implement. Maximum Points: 20

Impact:

Impact Once the battery is charged the bike can be used for several days. In future it will have a major impact because the energy consumption can be totally reduced.   Maximum Points: 30
