What this means for libraries : Because Boomers are a large demographic, it will be wise for libraries to be aware of Boomers’ needs and expectations as they age. Boomers have a high regard for education, and for continuing education and they may look to libraries to meet that need. Boomers are technologically savvy and will expect the libraries to be also. Because of the size of their demographic, Boomers have grown up with business and the marketplace responding to their needs and desires. They may have the same expectations for libraries to meet their needs.
