So much so that your intervention is not even necessary Basic level The concern over the possibility of losing our digital files is a thing of the past. Preserve your photos videos music documents etc. thanks to the Center Backup and Restore Windows 7. We all know how important it is to make backups of our precious files. Nevertheless they are usually few users are carried out regularly. If we focus on those users who regularly make backup of your files there are many who resort to third - party programs to do this task. But in any edition of Windows 7 Home Premium Professional and Ultimate is necessary to resort to external tools the operating system itself. To carry out our backup need an external hard drive whose capacity will depend on the volume of data we store on our team. Lets see step by step how to schedule a regular backup of our team using the Center Backup and Restore Windows 7. Step 1. A first contact To access the Center Backup and Restore Windows we go to Start / All Programs / Maintenance / Backup and Restore. In the screen that opens we are given option Set up backup create a system image create a repair disk system Select another backup to restore files and Recover system settings or your computer. Lets focus on the first option which deals with how to configure backups. Step 2. Choose the location for the copy We started connecting our external hard drive to your computer. Then we click Set up backup and in that panel choose our external hard drive. Optionally we have the opportunity to save the backup network but in our example we have opted for the external drive. Then press next.

Step 3. The source data Now we see a new window in which it asks us what we want to do a backup. We have two possibilities. Let Windows choose is the easiest option because it saved the backup all our files in libraries documents pictures music and videos on the desktop and in the Windows folder default Contacts Downloads etc... However it is possible that we have the staying in other partition data and therefore we more interested in the second option: Let me choose. So select the libraries or folders you want to include. In this step we will go for the second option. Then click next. Step 4. Select the files Since we have chosen in the earlier step the second option we are free to choose which files to our team wants to add to the backup. We displayed our libraries and we can choose those that interest us and unchecking not. Also from Team we can see all our partitions. We scored in all the folders that interest us and uncheck those that do not. Also we decide whether we want a system image. This will help us to make the computer back to the state it has been in just prior to the backup with the same programs that you had installed settings documents etc. just in case it would at a certain point the Windows installation is damaged and do not want to lose everything. Again we click next. Step 5. Check the configuration In the new window we are informed about the location you have selected to store the copy while it provides a summary of the files that we have included in it: user libraries folders added or excluded... Also we inform us whether we have added or not a system image. On the other hand we are given the opportunity to change the schedule by default. To do this click on Change Schedule and in the new screen specify the frequency daily weekly monthly that the backup will take place and the day of the week and time. We accept to save the changes. To close the backup configuration we need to click on Save Settings and run back up. Step 6. Restore the backed up data To cope with this task we headed to the main window Center Backup and Restore. Once there we found that we have at our disposal two alternatives when restoring the contents of a backup. If we performed the backup in the current installation of the operating system in paragraph restore option we seem restore all users files. But if we have done in a previous installation of the operating system we will show that Windows did not find any backup for this computer. If we want to recover the contents of a backup is not made in the current installation of Windows 7 but at an earlier we must go to select another backup to restore files. Step 7. Backups other systems

Center Backup and Restore do to search all devices connected to a PC one backup that we have made through it. To find that we must have connected the external hard drive in which we do the backup of our data. We will display all backups you have found informing the period covered by each of them the team that was performed and the location of it. We choose the backup from which we want to recover all or part of its content and click on Next. We see a new screen where you basically have two options to recover our files appears. With Total restoration we choose to recover all the files safeguarded while with partial restoration only get a part. Of course it allows us to use different search options as Search we enter one or more keywords and we will display all results files or folders that match the search from there we can add to recover those results that interest us. Meanwhile both Searches for files as Search Folders is possible to sail through the structure of the backup by selecting the files or folders that interest us respectively. Obviously it would be very difficult to carry out a partial restoration by only keyword searches. Once you have selected the content that interests us we click next so that the process of restoring files starts either in the original place they were in the previous installation of Windows 7 or in the location we select.
