Our Mission : Our Mission It is the mission of the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department to enhance the quality of life in our community by providing and maintaining quality parks and green spaces, and by offering enriching recreation activities and facilities for all people in Lincoln. Slide 4: Last summer 100% of parents reported their family enjoyed Day Camp at Irving Rec. Center. Day Camp Program Goals : Day Camp Program Goals Physical development (i.e., physical activity, healthy living, etc.) Social development (i.e., support, empowerment, social skills, etc.) Learning skills (i.e., planning, decision making, reading, etc.) Satisfaction (parent and camper) Slide 6: Last summer 98% of parents rated their family’s experience at Irving Rec. Center as good or excellent. Camp Hours : Camp Hours The following times are included in your day camp fee: Early drop-off. 7:00—9:00 a.m. Core program. 9:00 a.m.—4:30 p.m. Late pick-up. 4:30—6:00 p.m. Slide 8: “My kids have learned…that respecting others is important, they have great relationships with the youth/adult counselors who are great role models…they love all the varied activities.
