10.15: We have a special class for children that have just arrived to our country and don’t know the Catalan language. They go with a special teacher until they speak Catalan and can join the rest of the group. But they go to the general class when Music, Arts and P.E. They can be in this special class only for 2 years’ time. But some of them need far less than 2 years! :

Some children play a kind of bowling called ‘birles’. It’s very popular in our school. And this girl is the Catalonian Champion 2008!! Don’t bet against her!:

11.00: Back to work. We have a special class for English classes, as there are lot of materials that the teacher doesn’t need to carry from one class to another, like storybooks, flashcards, DVD player, CD player…:

12.00: It’s time for the kindergarden children to go home and have lunch (some of them stay in the school’s canteen) So, jackets, gloves, and goodbye till 3.00PM!:

1.30 AM: Children have gone home till 3.00PM. Teachers remain 1 more hour for meeting, planning and coordinate .:

Some of the teachers are planning in the staff room. Others are in their classrooms or in other meetings.:

In the afternoon, from 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM we have two more classes. Then at 5 everybody goes home. Primary children go home on their own, but Kindergarden children must be given one by one to parents by the teacher.:

At 5.00 PM everybody goes home, and the school remains in silent. Everybody? No, there are some extra sport activities until 6.00 PM. Here’s the basket trainer in action, but other days we have rollerskating, theatre, Catalan ‘bitlles’ (kind of bowling) and handball.:

5.15: And, of course, our housewives team is ready to start their job. They are cleaning the school from 5.00 to 8.00 PM:
