He started his career in 1984 in the insurance sector, serving organizations like Central Insurance Underwriters and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Later, he was hired by an independent financial planning firm to serve as Director of Investments. Dale transitioned this firm from commissions to fees based on assets under management.
