Overview The Elearn Program is an intensive program that allows you to: Conveniently receive the lessons by email every 5 days. Complete the lessons and assignments at your own time. Take the quizzes online. Complete the program in a timely manner.

Part 1 and Part 2 Course Content:

Part 1 Part 2 Lesson 1: Medical Terminology Lesson 2: Cardiovascular System Lesson 3: Musculoskeletal System Lesson 4: Digestive and Endocrine System Lesson 5: Nervous System Lesson 6: Respiratory System Lesson 7: Renal System Lesson 8: Reproductive System Lesson 9: Immune System Final Exam Lesson 1: Standards of Practice Lesson 2: Code of Ethics Lesson 3: Roles of the Interpreter Lesson 4: Professional Practice Oral Skills Evaluation Part 1 and Part 2 Course Content

Lesson Format:

Lesson Format Each lesson has the following format: Brief introduction to the topic P DF lesson files Audio files Links to presentations Patient Education Practice Audio Assignments Log-in link for the quiz Recommended Resources

Course Completion:

Course Completion Each lesson must be completed within 5 days. Assignments have to be submitted within 5 days. Lessons are in English. Assignments are submitted in English and in your non-English language (L2). Quizzes completed at your convenience. However, all of the quizzes have to be completed before the Final Exam for Part 1. The Final Exam is time-limited to one hour per section of the exam. All requirements for Part 1 must be successfully completed before access is given to Part 2 of the program. Part 2 of the Program requires an Oral Skills Evaluation by phone. The expected completion time for the whole program (Part 1 and Part 2) is 3 months. You may sign up for monthly extension if you are not able to complete the program in 3 months.

Language Options English-Spanish Option: You may enroll in the regular English-Spanish Program or in the English-Spanish Language Pack (in development) Other languages available: Arabic Language Pack Chinese Language Pack (Mandarin) French Language Pack Portuguese Language Pack Russian Language Pack Vietnamese Language Pack (in development)

Language Packs Language Packs include: Oral Evaluation in English and in another language Certificate will state Oral Evaluation in English and in other language Access to library of audio and written patient education materials in the non-English language to supplement the medical interpreter program.

Expedited Program:

Expedited Program Expedited Option: 1 Lesson per day Part 1 to be completed within 10 days. Part 2 to be completed within 5 days. Please contact me if you are interested in this option.

To receive your certificate::

To receive your certificate: Complete all requirements for Part 1. Complete all requirements for Part 2. Pass the Final Oral Skills Evaluation. Pay the Final Evaluation fee and any outstanding fees. Complete the Self-Evaluation Form within 24 hours. Your certificate will be issued within 24-48 hours after the Self-Evaluation Form is submitted.
