Inmarsat Regional BGAN: 

The MVS Group is proud to be a preferred DP for Inmarsat’s Regional BGAN service Regional BGAN is a satellite-based data modem that can connect to any Windows-based computer via USB, Ethernet, and even Bluetooth. Inmarsat Fleet Family: 

Inmarsat's Fleet family consists of units that provide single integrated voice, fax and data service offering a choice of communications, including Mobile ISDN and a revolutionary Mobile Packet Data option that allows ships to stay "always connected" during a voyage anywhere in the world. Inmarsat B: 

Inmarsat B provides the heart that powers the communications services between a ship and the outside world. Inmarsat C and Mini-C: 

The Inmarsat-C satellite system provides two-way data communications to and from virtually anywhere in the world. Inmarsat-C terminals are simple, low-cost units small enough to be hand-carried or fitted to any vessel, vehicle or aircraft. The MVS Mini-M phone is a portable, compact telephone system that allows two-way communication from one lightweight unit. Inmarsat GAN/M4: 

Inmarsat GAN/M4 service is your best choice for a truly portable high-speed, land-based data terminal. The 64 kbps bandwidth of the GAN terminal and the Euro ISDN interface make it possible to browse the Internet, connect to your Local or Wide Area Network, transmit in real time and store & forward video conferencing, send pictures, and broadcast quality voice. Inmarsat A: 

The Inmarsat-A system was the very first service in the Inmarsat family. Originally designed to be used on ships, it later came into use as a land terminal as well. After more than twenty years of service, the Inmarsat-A terminal has been used on all kinds of vessels, from oil tankers to fishing trawlers. The Inmarsat-A terminal is fully certified for Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) functionality, and offers voice, telex, fax, and a variety of analog data options. Inmarsat A

Prepaid Scratch Cards: 

MVS offers a top-of-the-line Scratch Card service that can be billed in Minutes, Units, or US Dollars. MVS’s Scratch Card Services are easily accessible with short code 66 via 0-1-5 on any Inmarsat Terminal. Users have access to detailed call records that are electronically entered into our system the second a call is completed. Prepaid Scratch Cards

Prepaid Scratch Cards: 

MVS offers “Smart Cards” that are refillable. All MVS prepaid scratch cards and SIM cards are able to be reloaded by MVS personnel. Once MVS has been paid for the new balance to be applied to a card, the only information required is the control number of the the card that should receive the new balance. New balance uploads take approximately 5-minutes during normal business hours. Prepaid Scratch Cards

Auto Dialers: 

MVS offers a complete dialing solution for your Inmarsat terminals. Dialers range in features and can accommodate most dialing needs: Prevent or allow incoming calls. Allow only SAC dialing. Program dialer to automatically dial a specified SAC when handset is picked up (ex: Dialer will automatically dial 0-1-5 scratch card services SAC when a crew member picks up the handset). Auto Dialers:

Prepaid Secure: 

MVS offers a variety of prepaid services for B, M, Mini-M, Fleet, and GAN/M4. Our newest Prepaid Secure service provides a variety of benefits: Apply any prepaid balance to any MVS SIM Card or B/M/Mini-M terminal. Balance upload is simple and can be done by MVS or by using a short code right from your Inmarsat terminal. Gain up-to-the-minute balance information by dialing a simple short code (no airtime charges for balance info). The SIM card or prepaid terminal will sound a warning when the balance reaches one minute and it will automatically be blocked when the balance reaches zero. With MVS Shore-to-Ship service, you can make calls to any Inmarsat terminal from a landline phone anywhere in the world. Email Services - MVSMail: 

Email Services - MVSMail MVSMail is a unique email compression and delivery system for use with Inmarsat A, B, B-HSD, M, Mini-M, and Fleet standards. MVSMail allows users to save up to 80% on Inmarsat data costs for non-urgent data communications. Emails are batched, compressed, and encrypted for low-cost secure delivery. MVSMail is compatible with most standard email clients such as MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, Eudora, and Lotus.

VMS VICTORIAFleet Tracking System: 

The Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) VICTORIA is intended for real-time vessel monitoring and Inmarsat-C communications via satellite e-mail. The system also archives collected routing data of vessels for efficient analysis. VMS Victoria is available online. A friendly user interface with data mapping makes the education cycle very short because it utilizes a standard browser like Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Three powerful servers are connected to the Internet and provide the capability to serve hundreds of users simultaneously. C News: 

MVS has developed a new value added service that gives Inmarsat C users special news and information via text dispatches from our Inmarsat C station in Nudol, Russia and our partner stations. The C-News product is the culmination of a yearlong MVS research project among Inmarsat C users worldwide. MVS has developed this product as a direct result of the suggestions given to us by our customers. With C-News subscribers receive daily news bulletins, headlines, breaking stories, and even communications specials being offered by MVS. Subscribers are kept up to date with worldwide current events and are also made aware of the various ways to save money on their satellite communications costs. C-News ensures that sea goers don't lose touch with breaking news from back home and around the world. C News

Departmental Billing: 

MVS has implemented a new Departmental Billing service for subscribers. This service allows users to breakdown invoices according to expense type and using the service could not be easier. Rather than prefacing a ship-to-shore call with 00, the user simply dials access code 65, plus four digits (xxxx - an expense item) from the strictly specified set of combinations, followed by the country code and phone number. The user has full control of assigning unique four-digit codes to each expense item. There is no registration required for this service. The customer is responsible for assigning various codes to expense items and monthly invoices will automatically separate charges according to code. Departmental Billing

SSAS: 

SSAS allows the user to send a covert emergency signal from the ship directly to administration and other necessary bodies. The signal alerts bodies ashore that the vessel is in distress and includes vessel position. SSAS solutions are available from The MVS Group via Inmarsat C, Mini-C, D+, and Iridium. SSAS

SSAS requires: One activation point on the bridge A second activation point in any other location System must be set up in such a way to avoid accidental operation and false alarms The system is powered by the vessel’s main electrical source and must also have a backup source, which can be a battery or UPS system.
