What is the cultural climate of your office? How does your supervisor dress? What do well-respected employees wear? Does your outfit look similar to what others in your office are wearing? Will you be working outside the office today? If so, you may need to bring clothing more suited to that activity. What to Wear to Work??? A Few Things to Consider:

Casual Dress : 

Casual dress clothing is usually untailored, with curved lines, round shapes, soft fabrics, light/dark contrast, unmatched, and collarless. This includes t-shirts, walking-length shorts, jeans, and sneakers. Casual Dress Casual Dress

Casual Dress Guidelines : 

Casual Dress T-shirts should be plain or promote Extension (with the logo) or Extension activities. Jeans should be “nice” – not faded, torn, or worn. Flip-flops are never appropriate while on official Extension business. Casual Dress Guidelines

Business Casual : 

Business casual is the official dress code for Extension offices. You may need to dress up if you have contact with special clientele. Or bring a more casual change of clothes if you will be participating in an outside activity. Business Casual Business Casual

Business professional clothing is tailored, structured, has straight lines, is angular, has matching firm fabrics and colors, and is fitted. Business Professional Business Professional

Dressy : 

Dressy clothing is varies in style and description. Usually it is fitted, made from high quality material, and is simplistic in style. Dressy Dressy

General Guidelines :
