Business model: 

Business model The plan implemented by a company to generate revenue and make a profit from operations. The model includes the components and functions of the business, as well as the revenues it generates and the expenses.

Business plan: 

Business plan A business plan is a formal statement of a set of business goals, the reasons why they are believed attainable, and the plan for reaching those goals. It may also contain background information about the organization or team attempting to reach those goals.

Components of Business Plan:

Executive summary: 

Executive summary I t is the first section in all business plans. This should be a short, self-explanatory piece which covers the key points you have made in your plan. Includes condensed version of the timetable and finances.

COMPANY ANALYSIS: 

COMPANY ANALYSIS This section provides a strategic overview of the company and describes how the company is organized. It also includes what products and services it offers/will offer, and goes into further detail on the company’s unique qualifications in serving its target markets.

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS: 

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS This section evaluates the playing field in which the company will be competing. It also includes well-structured answers to key market research questions. The examples are What are the sizes of the target market segments ? What are the trends for the industry as a whole? With what other industries do your services compete?

ANALYSIS OF CUSTOMERS: 

ANALYSIS OF CUSTOMERS The Customer Analysis section assesses the customer segment that the company serves. Here, the company must convey the needs of its target customers . Finally it must show how its products and services satisfy these needs to an extent that the customer will pay for them.

ANALYSIS OF COMPETITION : 

ANALYSIS OF COMPETITION The first key point to make regarding competition is that as you think through and develop this section, remember that there is always competition. Do yourself a favor and acknowledge that there is competition, however minimal or ineffective it may be.
