Why do I need to convert???? By converting mixed numbers into fractions, you can more accurately multiply not to mention it is faster!

Changing a Mixed # into a Fraction Multiply the denominator to the whole number. Add the numerator to your previous product. Write the sum from step 2 into the numerator of your new fraction. 35 35 + 6 = 41 41
