It was soon realised that the project had the potential to accomplish much more than it had set out to do. While still working towards a written biography for each CEF member Killed in Action, IYBF works towards preserving history in three distinct waysOur Mission Statement: Making Military History Accessible and Engaging in Order to Forever Preserve The Memory of Sacrifice : Our Mission Statement: Making Military History Accessible and Engaging in Order to Forever Preserve The Memory of Sacrifice Through our Not-for-Profit status, IYBF can raise funds and awareness for three interlinked causes 1: To Promote the Education of History 2: To Preserve, Restore and Maintain Physical History 3: To Aid Veterans, Past and PresentPowerPoint Presentation: How Do We Fulfil Our Mission Statement? By forming partnerships with organisations Dedicated to the Causes we support; “If Ye Break Faith” has the ability to disperse funds raised across a broad but interconnected network of charities Some partnerships pendingPowerPoint Presentation: Campaigns, Projects and Drives: “If Ye Break Faith” will have the ability to receive passive contributions through online donations, but will run both short and long-term campaigns to raise public awareness as well as funding. Members and Associates are encouraged to participate in sponsored events on our behalf. Some of which that have been suggested are the Toronto Marathon, The CN Tower stair Climb and the annual “Nijmegen March”PowerPoint Presentation: Give a Minute of Your Time “If Ye Break Faith’s” first long running campaign, opened from 11/11/11 to 11/11/12, encouraging the public to not only stand for a minute of silence as an act of remembrance, but to donate the equivalent of one minute’s worth of their time. People wishing to drive for this campaign can apply for promotional kits to get them started in their neighbourhood or place of employment.PowerPoint Presentation: Companion Works: Producing print titles exploring the history of the great war, and putting the proceeds of sales towards our partnered group allows “If Ye Break Faith” to actively participate in the education of history, as well as helping to fund its propagation. “If Ye Break Faith” will also generate an annual bursary for both the undergraduate and graduate level history student, contingent on GPA and entry in an essay competition. We intend to name it the “Captain Bath Award”, named for Capt.
