In some schools (360) are taught modern language: 190 French, 92 German, 63 Spanish, 15 ITALIAN.
Teachers focus their teaching on the social development of learners as well as on cognitive abilities
The school budget is provided by the state.
JUNIOR CYCLE:
JUNIOR CYCLE The junior cycle can be attended in Private schools (religious or administrative) Vocational schools Community & Comprehensive School
During their third year students have to pass a test to get into the Senior Cycle.
SENIOR CYCLE:
SENIOR CYCLE The senior cycle is divided into:
Transitional year: A year of study and work without examinations
Leaving certificate: A final exam for those who attended the C&C school made at the age of 17/18 years. Is required to bring at least 5 subjects.
Leaving certificate vocational programme(LVCP): A final exam for those who attended the Vocational School made at the age of 17/18 years. Is required to bring at least 5 subjects.

After high schools students can attend different courses at professional schools (colleges, universities)
