Where is Honduras?:

Where is Honduras? Honduras is the knee of Central America. It is bordered to the south by Nicaragua and El Salvador.

Water Crisis:

Water Crisis Hurricane Mitch and floods destroyed a lot of the safe drinking water. The country was devastated. The people were getting sick and were dying from fatal diseases, such as cholera, diarrhea, and typhoid.

Problems Specific to the Country:

Problems Specific to the Country Some big problems of Honduras is that 75% of the country doesn’t have access to safe drinking water. Also, more than 50% of the people are below the poverty line.

Important Statistical Information:

Important Statistical Information The population of Honduras is 7,483,763, and the access to improved sanitation is 65%. The access to improved water source is 87%. The median age is 19.7 years.
