But what is the role of an entrepreneur from the social aspect. He as a part of society also has to play an important role in bringing in new ideas, methods and objects for the welfare of the society. Role Of An Entrepreneur : Role Of An Entrepreneur Entrepreneurs occupy a central position in a market economy. For it's the entrepreneurs who serve as the spark plug in the economy's engine, activating and stimulating all economic activity. The economic success of nations worldwide is the result of encouraging and rewarding the entrepreneurial instinct. Alertness : Alertness Alertness is the entrepreneur's ability to perceive new economic opportunities that no prior economic actor has yet recognized. The entrepreneur might foresee demand for a new product that has not hitherto been manufactured; he might then decide to manufacture that good himself. Alertness : Alertness Alertness may also involve the entrepreneur's detection of arbitrage opportunities on the market: opportunities to sell the same factor of production for a higher price than he bought it. The entrepreneur's alertness detects arbitrage opportunities by recognizing that certain factors of production are underpriced; he then proceeds to act on this knowledge to earn profit. Responsibilities : Responsibilities In addition to their investments in the business, owners are usually required to personally guarantee the responsibilities of the business. This puts owners at significant financial risk and exposure. As such, successful owners will ensure that their businesses are properly cared for to ensure healthy growth. Responsibilities : Responsibilities This oversight includes ensuring successful strategies/systems, proper financial management, effective leadership, strong teams, and valuable products/services. In small businesses, most owners are also employees when they serve other roles in the company. A Successful Entrepreneur : A Successful Entrepreneur Able to adapt and make adjustments in the ever changing world of the marketplace, adaptation to new trends, technology, products, and marketing strategies, always working with the plan in mind, and brainstorm with the team ways you can best adapt to changes, implement the necessary changes with the thought always in mind that the plan is a virtual living tool, not static doctrines that would actually be worthless if one could not adapt them to the ever changing marketplace. Take The Lead : Take The Lead Entrepreneurs must take the lead in conceptual economy. Corporate world usually takes the back seat when it comes to adapting new ventures and most likely will be the last group to realize and accept the arrival of this economy.
