Moodle for Teachers Class (M4T) Previous experience with Blackboard and WebCT Familiar with installing Moodle but not using it M4T has been useful for: Good review of online teaching principles with emphasis on Social Constructivist ideas Sandbox to develop course prototype Resources I can look back on when I need them More work than I expected, but I need to have a fire lit under me sometimes – used blog for notes & reflection My biggest problem: procrastinating & waiting for ideas!

Course Characteristics Title: Preparing Online Instructional Videos Format: Five Week-long units Audience: K-12 teachers who already use Powerpoint and overheads in instruction Objective: Provide basic tools and training to produce and publish online instructional videos
