### Conservative forces:

Conservative forces A force is said to be conservative if work done by or against the forces in moving body depends only on the initial and final position of the body , and not on the nature of the path followed between the initial and the finial position .

### Non conservative Force:

Non conservative Force A force is said to be to be non conservative if any work done or against the force in moving a body from one position to another , depends on the path followed between these two position .

### Power :

Power Power of a person or machine is defined as the time rate at which work done by it. power=work done/time taken

### Energy :

Energy Energy of a body is defined as the capacity or ability to do work.

### Kinetic energy :

Kinetic energy The Kinetic energy of a body is the energy possessed by the body by virtue of it’s motion.

### Potential energy :

Potential energy The potential energy of a body is defined as the energy possessed by the body by virtue of it’s position in some field.

### Collision :

Collision A collision as n isolated event in which two or more colliding bodies exert relatively short time . There are two types of collision- Elastic collision Inelastic collision

### Elastic collision:

Elastic collision A collision in which there is absolutely no loss of kinetic energy is called elastic collision.

### Inelastic collision :

Inelastic collision A collision in which there occurs some loss of kinetic energy is called inelastic collision.
