Attributes of God:

Attributes of God God with a Capital “G” In Christian usage “God” functions as a proper noun . It is a personal name. ’Elohim It is first found in Genesis 1:1 . It is the plural form of ‘El. This name draws attention to God’s power, strength, majesty, and authority .

Attributes of God Combinations of this name ’El ’Elyon It means “the most high God,” “the exalted one.” ’El Shaddai It means “the Almighty God,” literally, “the God who is more than enough .” Although it also refers to God’s exalted nature, it carries the idea of God who condescends to enter into relations of friendship and blessing with his people. The name stresses divine greatness but primarily as a source of blessing and comfort for the people of God. It indicates that God controls all the powers of nature and makes them serve his purposes.
