Presentation Description

Traditionally, conventional orthodontics uses specially formed orthodontic brackets and arch wires to pull and push the teeth into shape. However, this creates a range of problems. Most patients feel seriously inhibited with the amount of metal they have in their mouth. This is also the main reason why patients postpone orthodontic treatment for as long as possible.

There are several different types of ceramic braces that can be used like self ligating. A few can be used with conventional wires or even with plastic or nylon preformed arch wires. These ceramic braces can be attached on the labial or the lingual part of the teeth according to the patient's needs. Metal reinforced ceramic braces are also available to ensure that the brackets last for as long as possible.
