Directions for Toon Doo

Registration : 

Registration Registration is Free! Enter a username, password, and email address You can begin making cartoons!

Select your layout : 

Select your layout Select the layout that has three panels, so you will have three different scenes in your cartoon.

Pick your characters : 

Pick your characters The next screen will be where you make your Toon! Pick the icon that looks like two people; this will be where you pick your character. You can pick animals, people, characters, famous people, icons, etc. Click on the icon and slide the picture down into your first panel. If you want more than one character in the panel, choose another character and drag that picture into your panel. You may have to move the characters around to make it look just how you want it.

Background : 

Background Click the icon that looks like three buildings with clouds behind them. You will select your background here. You can pick indoors, outdoors, space, sports, etc. Click on the background you like and drag into the panel. If you don’t like it, simply pick another background and drag into the panel and it will replace the old background.

Props : 

Props Click on the open box to select props that you may want in your panels. Click the prop you want and drag it into the panel. You may select more than one.

Texts : 

Texts Click on the icon that looks like callouts or balloons for text. This is where you will add your texts or what you want your character to say. Once you drag the balloon into the panel, you will see a blinking cursor. Then you type what you want your character to say.

Sizing : 

Sizing On the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, you may enlarge or shrink your characters, props, etc. Click on the character that you want to be bigger or smaller and then click on the icon to shrink or enlarge.

Saving : 

Saving When you are happy with your cartoon, you click on the toondoo icon in the top left corner. First, give you must give your cartoon a title. You can email it directly to your teacher by entering her email address.
